The successful candidate will be responsible for handling a variety of complex cases with a focus on healthcare litigation and liability matters. Insurance defense experience preferred. Job Details

Responsibilities:

1. Representing clients in healthcare litigation and liability cases.
2. Conducting thorough and detailed legal research to support case preparation.
3. Drafting, reviewing, and revising legal documents, including pleadings, motions, briefs, and memos.
4. Advising clients on matters and potential liabilities.
5. Negotiating settlements and representing clients in court proceedings.
6. Collaborating with senior attorneys to develop case strategies and legal arguments.

Qualifications:

1. Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
2. Insurance defense experience preferred.
3. Admission to the Florida (FL) state bar.
4. Exceptional legal research and writing skills.
5. Proven ability to manage multiple cases and projects simultaneously, with great attention to detail.
6. Strong negotiation and advocacy skills.
7. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel.
8. High level of professional ethics and integrity.
9. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
10. Proficiency in legal research software and Microsoft Office Suite.
