Job Details

The Role | Associate Attorney

This associate will work closely with a senior attorney on a docket of complex litigation matters, including asbestos/mesothelioma and high-value personal injury cases.

Key Responsibilities
Assist in all phases of litigation from case intake through trial
Draft pleadings, motions, and discovery
Conduct legal research and develop case strategy
Take and defend depositions (fact and expert)
Participate in trial preparation and courtroom proceedings
Communicate directly with clients, experts, and opposing counsel
Collaborate with internal teams including paralegals and medical experts
Qualifications
J.D. from an accredited law school
Admitted to practice (or ability to waive into) New York preferred
1–5+ years of litigation experience (plaintiff-side or defense litigation welcome)
Strong writing, research, and analytical skills
Interest in plaintiff-side litigation and advocacy
Ability to manage multiple cases in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Experience
Personal injury, mass tort, or complex litigation exposure
Deposition and courtroom experience
Experience working with medical records or expert witnesses
