Job Overview A law firm seeks an Associate Attorney for its Glendale, California office. The role involves handling labor and employment matters, focusing on wage and hour class/PAGA actions. The position is on‑site preferred, with no minimum billable hours required.Responsibilities Handle wage and hour class/PAGA actions from inception through conclusion.Conduct legal research and analysis.Draft legal documents such as motions, pleadings, and briefs.Attend court hearings and trials.Assist in client meetings and consultations.Manage caseloads and ensure deadlines are met.Collaborate with senior attorneys on complex legal matters.Maintain a high level of professionalism and ethical standards.Requirements At least 1 year of in‑court litigation and deposition‑handling experience preferred.Working knowledge of law and motion briefing and argument.Experience in plaintiff or defense side employment law, wage & hour, and class/PAGA actions is a plus.Superior oral advocacy skills and confidence.Great analytical and critical thinking skills.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Attention to detail, honesty, dependability, computer savvy, and multi‑tasking.Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook Email/Calendar, Adobe Acrobat, Apple Operating System, and other litigation software.Fluency in English (spoken & written).
