Associate Attorney Illinois Foreclosure & Title Litigation
Location: Naperville, Illinois (Hybrid)
Compensation: $115,000$150,000+ DOE
Schedule: Full-Time
About the Role
We are seeking an Illinois-licensed Associate Attorney to join our growing foreclosure and title litigation practice. This role is ideal for an attorney who enjoys litigation and courtroom appearances but is also highly organized, detail-oriented, and interested in the operational side of legal practice.
This position offers a strong quality-of-life balance with meaningful courtroom exposure, steady workflow, and a collaborative environment without the pressure of excessive billable hour requirements or high-conflict litigation culture.
The ideal candidate will have approximately 48 years of experience, though we are open to training the right attorney with transferable skills and strong professional instincts.
Key Responsibilities
- Attend daily court hearings, primarily via Zoom
- Handle status hearings, case management conferences, and routine oral arguments
- Review complaints, pleadings, and case filings
- Manage litigation workflow and case progression
- Assist with title-related legal analysis and issue resolution
- Coordinate with internal staff and out-of-state legal teams
- Maintain organized case management and documentation
- Build positive, professional relationships with judges, opposing counsel, and clients
Qualifications
Required
- Active Illinois law license
- Minimum 5 years licensed preferred
- Ability to appear in Illinois courts as needed
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Comfortable handling routine court appearances independently
- Professional, personable demeanor
Preferred
- Experience in foreclosure, real estate litigation, title work, or related practice areas
- Familiarity with title review, closings, or transactional real estate matters
- Prior courtroom experience
- Ability to work in a hybrid environment and commute periodically to the Naperville office
