A well-established Florida law firm is seeking Associate Attorneys with experience in general liability and insurance defense for immediate, in-office openings in Coral Gables. This full-time opportunity is ideal for attorneys who want to manage their own caseload and grow within a stable litigation practice.
Key Responsibilities- Manage a general liability defense caseload from inception through resolution
- Draft pleadings, motions, and discovery
- Support litigation strategy; attend depositions, mediations, and case evaluations
- Handle third-party defense matters, including:
- Premises liability
- Automobile accident defense
- Insurance defense litigation
- Communicate effectively with clients, carriers, and opposing counsel
Required Qualifications- 35 years of experience as a general liability and/or insurance defense attorney
- Third-party claims experience only (no first-party work)
- Active member of the Florida Bar in good standing
- Strong litigation, writing, and case management skills
- Ability to work in-office (not a remote position)
Compensation & Benefits- Salary range: $125,000$145,000 (commensurate with experience)
