The successful candidate will handle a diverse caseload, including Custody, Paternity, Child Support, Domestic Relations, Criminal Law, Criminal Defense, Prosecution, Public Defenders, Litigation, Hearings, Trials, Courtroom, Motions, Pleadings, Research, Drafting, Legal Research, and Legal Writing. Job Details

Responsibilities:

  • Provide legal representation to clients in matters related to Custody, Paternity, Child Support, Domestic Relations, and Criminal Law.
  • Serve as a prosecutor or public defender in criminal cases as required.
  • Conduct litigation and hearings, ensuring the best possible outcome for our clients.
  • Prepare and present cases in the courtroom, including opening and closing arguments, examining and cross-examining witnesses, and presenting evidence.
  • Draft, review, and file legal motions, pleadings, and other documents.
  • Conduct comprehensive legal research and analysis to support case preparation and strategy.
  • Provide legal advice and guidance to clients, ensuring their rights are protected and their legal needs are met.
  • Collaborate with other members of the legal team to ensure a coordinated and effective approach to case management.
  • Keep up-to-date with changes in the law and legal practice, and apply this knowledge to benefit our clients and the firm.

Qualifications:

  • Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law school.
  • A minimum of 5+ years of experience as a practicing attorney, with a focus on Custody, Paternity, Child Support, Domestic Relations, Criminal Law, Criminal Defense, Prosecution, Public Defenders, Litigation, Hearings, Trials, Courtroom, Motions, Pleadings, Research, Drafting, Legal Research, and Legal Writing.
  • Membership in good standing with the state bar.
  • Excellent legal research and writing skills.
  • Strong litigation and courtroom skills, including experience with trials, hearings, and motions.
  • Proven ability to manage a diverse caseload and work effectively under pressure.
  • Exceptional communication and negotiation skills.
  • High level of professionalism and ethical standards.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency with legal research tools and software.
  • Commitment to providing high-quality legal representation to our clients.
