Associate Attorney

Job DescriptionOur growing homeowner-side HOA and business law firm is seeking a sharp, proactive associate attorney to join our team.This role is ideal for an attorney who excels at early case evaluation, issue spotting, and strategic client guidance, especially in the pre-litigation stage of the case.The ideal candidate is highly analytical, solution-oriented, and comfortable taking ownership of client matters from intake through resolution. Litigation experience is a plus, but not required.This firm is recognized and highly respected throughout California as a leader in one of its niche areas of the law. We embrace cutting‑edge legal technology and administrative support, so you can focus on what you do best.ResponsibilitiesConduct detailed case intake, factual investigation, and early‑stage legal analysisIdentify key legal issues, risks, and strategic opportunities at the outset of disputesAdvise clients on pre‑litigation strategy, exposure, and potential outcomesDraft demand lettersDraft mediation briefsDraft settlement agreementsAttend mediations with clientsWork with clients to resolve disputes before involving the courtsAnalyze governing documents (including CC&Rs), and applicable statutesDevelop case strategies designed to position clients for early, favorable resolutionCoordinate with the litigation team where matters escalatesQualificationsStrong analytical and issue‑spotting abilitiesStrong writing skillsExperience with real estate, HOA, or business disputes is a plus but not requiredLitigation experience is a plus, but not requiredCompensation$100,000 – $185,000 (depending on experience)Monthly performance bonuses —your hard work is recognized, rewarded, and appreciated.
