Associate Control SystemsCybersecurity HDR is looking for an Associate Control SystemsCybersecurity to serve in a project leadership role in support of our global Control Systems and Cybersecurity practice, which includes full-service capabilities and supports clients in multiple industries and market sectors. Providing control system assessment, planning, design, cybersecurity testing & commissioning, and maintenance.

Primary Responsibilities and Duties:

• Perform complex assignments exercising judgment in evaluation, selection, and modification of standard engineering techniques and procedures. • Lead development of biddable and technically accurate Control Systems and Cybersecurity construction documents, including P&IDs, network architecture diagrams, control panel layouts, and wiring diagrams. • Serve as Engineer of Record in responsible charge for the development of biddable and technically accurate control system construction documents. • Interface with Electrical Process and Cybersecurity specialists to fully coordinate design requirements for network power control and instrumentation. • Coordinate control system discipline staff workload through design development and construction document phases to complete documents on schedule. • Provide construction contract administration as needed, including coordination with and assist affected disciplines with addenda, RFIs, CPRs, and change orders. • Travel to client facilities to participate in field activities to assess and document the current state of installed control systems. • Participate in and lead design review and planning meetings with the client. • Provide Quality Control QC reviews of control system designs. • Supervise and develop a small staff of professionals and technicians as needed. • Update workplans for control systems staff assigned to your project and to track budget and schedule performance for the control systems team. • Participate in joint scoping and proposal development working with clients and marketing staff. • Contribute to Control System Technical Leadership Team and drive corporate initiatives for quality and strategic growth within the Control Systems Discipline. • Contribute to growth strategy for control systems and cybersecurity in the Europe and Middle East regions. • Active participation in industry professional societies to contribute to the development of standards, participate in the development and delivery of presentations and whitepapers at industry trade shows and conferences, and develop article content for general industry and market sector-specific newsletters and periodicals.

Growth Opportunities Exposure to multiple market sectors and core services of our global control systems program. Training and development to build skillset to serve as market sector and core service subject matter expert SME. Serve as Engineer of Record in responsible charge for the development of biddable and technically accurate control system construction documents. Active participation in industry professional societies, trade shows, and conferences. Advancement to Senior Control Systems Engineer or regional leadership.

Preferred Qualifications Knowledge of UK Network and Information Systems Regulations NIS for Critical National Infrastructure CNI and EU NIS2 is a plus. Experience with managing control systems projects for scope, schedule, and budget. Experience and desire to develop a UK control systems team. Experience with UK EU design delivery methods for Critical Infrastructure, Building Automation, and/or data centers.
