Overview
The Associate Administrator manages a range of operational activities, including human resources planning, information technology planning, financial reporting, facility planning, research support, and compliance. The role involves overseeing staffing processes, onboarding, benefits, performance management, and staff data management. The position requires maintaining a high standard of confidentiality and professionalism, while also collaborating closely with various departments to assess staffing needs and implement HR strategies. This role ensures alignment with institutional policies and adherence to regulatory requirements, managing payroll, timecard processing, administrative staff, and serving as the primary resource for staff data and reporting systems.
Required Skills and Abilities
Strong leadership and managerial skills, including demonstrated ability to managing people and inspire high performance. Demonstrated experience supporting a clinical practice.
Demonstrated experience with EPIC and high proficiency with MS suite.
Excellent analytical and project management skills with the ability to solve emerging problems and articulate policies clearly. Ability to anticipate business environment changes and manage them proactively.
Exceptional judgment and strong communication skills.
Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and foster teamwork.
Preferred Skills and Abilities
Proven experience managing/navigating patient care. Experience working in a surgical department.
Proven experience with enterprise management systems and financial tools.
Supervisory experience with union and non-union staff.
