Our own excellence inspires excellence in others, including residents, families, and our coworkers.\n \nWhat You Will Be Doing: Provide high quality personal care to assisted living home residents in a warm, supportive, and caring manner. This position also participates in planning, coordinating, and leading social and recreational activities for the residents and leads group sessions and programs that promote physical well-being and relationships by involving residents in activities where they engage in meaningful person to person social interchange with other residents, family, friends, and staff. Duties include planning, organizing, and implementing individual and group recreational programs. Uses therapeutic techniques to motivate the socialization and constructive uses of leisure time and/or skill. Leads and encourages residents in individual and group activities of a physical, social, and cultural nature. Examples include physical exercise activities, hobbies and crafts, parties, picnic, religious activities, holiday celebration, etc.\n \nThe job duties may include driving, escorting, and transporting residents for various reasons operating a wheelchair accessible passenger van.
