Position Overview
The Assistant Women's Soccer Coach is a role that supports the competitive excellence of Bethany Colleges women's soccer program. Under the direction of the Head Women's Soccer Coach, this position assists in recruiting, coaching, and developing NAIA student-athletes. This role demands a commitment to creating a positive, growth-focused environment that emphasizes student-athlete development, academic achievement, retention, and community involvement. It centers on coaching, supervising, managing, retaining, and recruiting student-athletes in accordance with Bethany College, Kansas Collegiate Athletic Conference (KCAC), and the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) policies. The Assistant Coach collaborates with all staff to promote athletic excellence, academic achievement, and good sportsmanship.

Working Conditions
The work environment involves minimal exposure to physical risks but includes exposure to biological hazards, bacteria, and communicable diseases. Work outside involves considerable exposure to unusual elements, such as extreme temperatures, dirt, dust, fumes, smoke, unpleasant odors, and/or loud noises. Semi-frequent or frequent conference-wide travel, or to assigned locations; frequent, prolonged, and irregular hours. Work performed indoors is generally with ambient room temperatures, lighting, and traditional office equipment as found in a typical office environment.
