In this role, you'll operate advanced digital printing equipment, ensure top-quality results, and optimize production efficiency. You'll engage with contemporary printing technologies on projects like billboards, custom graphics, and signage. Ideal candidates bring expertise in wide-format printing, prepress operations, color management, and graphic design to our team.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Operate and upkeep wide-format printers, specifically EFI systems.
- Prepare and configure digital files, focusing on design layout, typography, and color precision.
- Execute prepress duties such as file setup, proofing, and color accuracy checks using Adobe Creative Suite.
- Conduct thorough quality control throughout the print process for optimal color fidelity and print sharpness.
- Resolve technical challenges with printing equipment to reduce machine downtime.
- Aid in the handling of large-format materials using forklifts or similar machinery when necessary.
- Coordinate with the design team on layout modifications and printing details for various assignments.
- Maintain a tidy and safe working area according to safety protocols.
**Qualifications**
- Demonstrated experience in wide-format printing or comparable production sectors.
- Skilled in color correction software tools.
- Knowledgeable about prepress procedures and color management methodologies.
- Proficient in using graphic design tools like Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator.
- Familiar with quality control protocols in production environments.
- Capable of operating machinery such as forklifts; certification is a plus but not essential.
