Assistant Warehouse Manager

Are you a hands-on warehouse leader who thrives in a fast-paced food distribution environment? We're partnering with a well-established industry leader to find an Assistant Warehouse Manager who can help drive operational excellence, develop warehouse teams, and ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
What You'll Do
As the Assistant Warehouse Manager, you'll work closely with warehouse leadership to oversee daily operations, optimize workflows, maintain inventory accuracy, and support a culture focused on safety, quality, and productivity.
Key responsibilities include:
- Assist in managing all warehouse operations, shipping, receiving, and inventory control activities
- Lead, coach, and develop warehouse personnel to maximize performance and accountability
- Monitor inventory accuracy and ensure efficient product flow throughout the facility
- Help maintain compliance with food safety, quality, and workplace safety standards
- Coordinate maintenance schedules and support the continuous operation of warehouse equipment
- Identify process improvements that enhance efficiency and reduce operational costs
- Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure customer orders are fulfilled accurately and on time
- Support operational planning and execution to meet business goals and customer demands
What We're Looking For
- 3+ years of warehouse leadership experience within the food distribution or food manufacturing industry
- Strong inventory management and warehouse operations experience
- Excellent organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills
- High attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Proven ability to lead and motivate teams in a fast-paced environment
- Bilingual English/Spanish required
Compensation & Benefits
- $75,000 - $100,000 base salary
- Annual bonus opportunity up to 20%
