Open Position: Assistant Vice President, RFP Analyst
Job Description:
The AVP, RFP Analyst position plays a key role within the Marketing Information Team (MIT), helping to develop, execute, and oversee questionnaires related to supporting our new and existing business efforts. The AVP, RFP Analyst will be primarily focused on responding to questionnaires (including Requests for Proposals (RFPs), Due Diligence Questionnaires, Regulatory Questionnaires ((including 15cs) and similar business-related requests) and certain database population and review. RFPs and investment-related databases are an integral part of our business development process; this position requires an individual with high attention to detail, excellent time management, and strong, demonstrated business writing skills.
This position offers exposure to all aspects of buy-side fixed income asset management and will include regular interaction with all areas of IR+M including the Investment and Client Service Teams.
Job duties and Responsibilities:
Vet, coordinate, produce, and submit Request for Proposals (RFPs) and other business-related questionnaires: this includes ensuring proper content and formatting prior to final completion
Populate and conduct data integrity checks of investment-related database platforms, ensuring accurate information and timely updates
Provide peer reviews for questionnaire work completed by other members of the Marketing Information Team
Leverage Excel-based internal reports for data
Collaborate with subject-matter experts around the firm to create custom responses and confirm existing responses as needed
Update content library with current responses, and proactively identify changes to language and positioning that will create compelling responses
Participate in ad-hoc projects and other team/business initiatives
Required Skills and Experience:
5+ years of investment industry experience with at least 3 years of RFP writing required
Superior communication skills – verbal and written
Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel; familiarity with Microsoft PowerPoint and SharePoint a plus
Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail and adherence to deadlines
Ability to work on multiple high priority requests simultaneously and adapt to changing priorities
Collaborative mindset and ability to work and communicate effectively within a cross-functional team Environment
Experience with online databases and software (eVestment, Morningstar, investment consultant-specific platforms) preferred but not necessary
Experience with proposal software programs preferred but not necessary
Education Requirement:
Bachelor’s Degree Required

Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each candidate and may vary based upon but not limited to relevant experience, licensure requirements, certifications, skill set, and other business and organizational needs.
Base Salary Range:
$100,000- 120,000
Annual Performance Bonus:
This role is eligible for an annual performance-based bonus
