Job Summary:
This position provides direction under the guidance of the head soccer coach to student-athletes so that they might achieve a high level of skill as well as an appreciation for discipline, sportsmanship, and teamwork. To value and promote the worth of each participant while effectively leading players and staff to achieve their individual and collective potential. Work is performed under the direction of the head coach, Principal and Athletic Director.
High School diploma or GED
Previous coaching experience preferred
Possess reasoning ability to solve practical problems
Be able to pass a screening test to provide transportation for student athletes if necessary
Regular and punctual attendance
Models sports-like behavior and maintains appropriate conduct towards students, officials and spectators
Must complete SafeSchools and WIAA Final Forms required training prior to the beginning of the sport's season
CPR/First Aid card
Skills in reading, understanding and following safety rules and regulations. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relations with students and staff. Ability to perform duties with awareness of District requirements and Board policies Ability to work independently and to communicate proactively
