Job Description:
Assistant Swim Team Coach
Qualifications:
- Background and knowledge in competitive aquatics
- Excellent leadership skills
- Ability to work with and motivate swimmers at practices and meets
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with Head Coach, swimmers, parents and YMCA staff
- Current YMCA v6 lifeguard, BLS, BFA, Emergency Oxygen Administration, other certifications as required.
Responsibilities:
- Attend regular practices as scheduled by head coach.
- Approximately 6-10 hours a week
- Attend YMCA dual meets as needed
- Assist Head Coach in planning swim meet and other team activities
- Other duties as directed by the Head Coach
Starting Wage:
- $11.50-$12.50/hr - commensurate with experience
