Description
Assist the Superintendent in managing day-to-day field operations on a $100M+ ground-up multifamily development
Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and site logistics to ensure safe and efficient project execution
Monitor project schedules and support milestone achievement throughout construction
Conduct site walkthroughs and inspections to ensure quality control standards are met
Assist with safety compliance initiatives and maintain a safe jobsite environment
Collaborate closely with project management, ownership, design teams, and trade partners
Maintain project documentation, reports, and field communications using Procore and related software
Support project closeout activities and turnover procedures
Profile
A successful Assistant Superintendent should have:
5-10 years of construction experience, preferably as an Assistant Superintendent
Open to junior Superintendents willing to step into an Assistant Superintendent role
Experience on large-scale ground-up construction projects required
Multifamily construction experience strongly preferred
Experience working for reputable General Contractors or Developers
Strong understanding of field operations, scheduling, quality control, and jobsite safety
Proficiency with Procore and Microsoft Office Suite preferred
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Must be able to commute daily to Allston, MA
Job Offer
Base salary up to $135,000
Annual bonus target of approximately 15%
