Job Details

We are seeking an Assistant Superintendent to support field operations on large-scale multifamily and mixed-use construction projects throughout the Bay Area.

Job Description:
Assist the Project Superintendent with daily field operations, site coordination, and subcontractor supervision
Walk the project site regularly to monitor progress, quality, safety, cleanliness, and trade performance
Help coordinate subcontractors, vendors, deliveries, inspections, and daily work activities
Support project schedules by tracking manpower, materials, sequencing, and field productivity
Review plans, specifications, RFIs, submittals, and field documents to help resolve issues quickly
Maintain jobsite documentation including daily reports, photos, safety logs, and punch list items
Help enforce jobsite safety standards and ensure work is performed in compliance with project requirements
Assist with quality control, punch walks, closeout items, and turnover preparation

Qualifications:
Prior construction field experience with a general contractor or subcontractor
Experience with multifamily, mixed-use construction strongly preferred
Strong understanding of jobsite safety, sequencing, subcontractor coordination, and field documentation
Ability to read plans, track details, communicate clearly, and follow through on open items
Procore, Microsoft Project, Bluebeam, or similar construction software experience preferred
Strong communication skills and the ability to work closely with Superintendents, Project Managers, subcontractors, and ownership teams
Motivated, organized, and eager to grow into a Superintendent career path
