Assistant Superintendent - Luxury Custom Homes

We are seeking a detail-oriented Assistant Superintendent to support the construction of high-end, luxury custom homes throughout Palm Beach County. This role is ideal for a construction professional with a strong foundation in field operations who thrives in a fast-paced, quality-driven environment. The Assistant Superintendent will work closely with the Lead Superintendent to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget

Description

Key Responsibilities

• Assist the Superintendent in daily on-site management of luxury residential construction projects from ground-up through completion
• Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, vendors, and trades to ensure adherence to schedules and project specifications
• Read, interpret, and execute construction documents, blueprints, and shop drawings with precision
• Monitor jobsite safety and enforce compliance with OSHA and company safety standards
• Conduct quality control inspections to ensure work meets high-end residential standards and client expectations
• Assist in managing project schedules, including sequencing of trades and resolving scheduling conflicts
• Support material procurement, deliveries, and inventory tracking
• Maintain accurate daily reports, logs, and jobsite documentation
• Collaborate with project managers, architects, designers, and homeowners to ensure alignment and communication
• Identify and proactively address field issues, conflicts, or deficiencies

Profile

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in residential construction, with a strong preference for luxury custom homes
• Proven ability to read and interpret blueprints, construction documents, and specifications
• Understanding of construction methods, materials, and building codes specific to South Florida
• Experience coordinating multiple trades and managing jobsite logistics
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality craftsmanship
• Familiarity with construction scheduling tools and project management software is a plus
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Experience utilizing Procore or BuilderTrend
• Assisted on Luxury Home projects that are at least $5M
