Our client is seeking an Assistant Project Superintendent to support the successful delivery of commercial construction projects ranging from approximately $250K to $2M, or to oversee a designated area of a larger project. Description

  • Manage and coordinate daily field operations on commercial construction projects
  • Develop, maintain, and update six-week look-ahead schedules
  • Oversee subcontractor workflow, manpower allocation, productivity, and site safety
  • Ensure compliance with project plans, specifications, contract documents, and regulatory requirements
  • Coordinate site logistics, security, and overall site cleanliness
  • Monitor project progress and maintain accurate daily reports, production logs, visitor records, and testing documentation
  • Support project budget and schedule objectives through proactive field management
  • Promote a culture of safety, teamwork, diversity, inclusion, and environmental responsibility

Profile

A successful Assistant Superintendent should have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business, or related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Minimum 3 years of commercial construction experience with field supervision responsibilities
  • Strong knowledge of commercial building systems and construction processes
  • OSHA 30 certification required
  • CSL License preferred
  • Proven track record of successfully delivering construction projects with high client satisfaction
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and contract documents
  • Experience with site layout and surveying activities
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Procore, and Bluebeam
