Job Description
The Assistant Storekeeper I supports materials management and warehouse operations at an operating center, ensuring accurate inventory control and efficient movement of materials. This role focuses on inventory tracking, order processing, materials handling, and shipping and receiving while providing responsive support to internal customers. The position is ideal for someone with warehouse, inventory, logistics, materials management, or supply chain experience who can work safely in an industrial environment and comfortably lift up to 75 pounds.

Work Environment
This position is based in a warehouse and storeroom environment that supports utility operations. You will spend most of your time receiving, storing, issuing, and tracking materials and inventory while working closely with operations personnel and internal customers. The role involves frequent standing, walking, lifting up to 75 pounds, and operating material-handling equipment such as forklifts. You will work in an industrial setting where safety is a top priority, and the use of personal protective equipment is required. The work environment combines hands-on warehouse activities with computer-based inventory tracking, requiring comfort with both physical tasks and system work in a fast-paced, safety-focused operation.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.
