Description

Compensation Pay Range$15.00 - $20.00. The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location. Additional compensation includes annual, quarterly performance, or premiums that may be paid in amounts ranging per hour in specific circumstances. Premiums may be based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if applicable criteria are met.Essential Job FunctionsLead the store team members in providing excellent customer service to retail and professional customers.Supervise the customer service levels on the retail showroom and team member execution on programs such as Related sales, Hi5, Rock the Call, Never Say No, Rock the Lot, etc.Ensure the retail sales counter is adequately staffed, especially during peak retail business hours.Assist the store manager in setting team member goals, providing feedback on goal achievement, coaching and mentoring, and ensuring training completion.Assist in the hiring process: recruiting tasks, scheduling and participating in interviews, evaluating candidates, and collaboration with management to select qualified team members.Ensure telephone is answered according to company policy.Process buy online/ship to store, hub to store, store to store transfers, and DC add orders timely, contacting customers on shipment arrivals as needed.Utilize electronic purchase order ledger to handle special orders and outside purchases efficiently.Process retail customer returns and exchanges efficiently and friendlily, issue refunds accurately, and stage returned merchandise correctly.Invoice all merchandise, core charges, and warranties before products leave the store.Communicate Zipline messages and delegate Image Maker and merchandising tasks as assigned.Ensure team members comply with company policies regarding schedule, approvals, and clock‑in/out.Perform store opening/closing duties: day end procedures, verifying deposits, preparing bank deposits, security checks, securing building, and delivery vehicles.Assist store manager in maintaining building, parking lot, signage/lighting, hardware, test equipment, and delivery vehicles.Perform any other duties as assigned.Skills, Education, Knowledge, Experience, and AbilitiesRequiredSales Specialist Training, Assistant Manager Certification, and RSS CertificationDesiredCertified Parts Professional Certification and ASE CertificationFluency in multiple languages (Spanish is highly desired)Additional NotesBilingual candidates encouraged to apply.Total Compensation PackageCompetitive Wages & Paid Time OffStock Purchase Plan & 401(k) with Employer Contributions starting day oneMedical, Dental, & Vision Insurance with Optional Flexible Spending Account (FSA)Team member health and wellbeing programsTuition educational assistance programsOpportunities for career growthEqual Opportunity StatementO'Reilly Auto Parts is an equal opportunity employer.
