CHAGEE is excited to expand to the US market, and this is your chance to be part of an exhilarating journey as we deliver the taste of authentic tea culture to America.BenefitsHourly rate of $26 – $28/hr depending on experienceEligible for discretionary bonus (determined by the management team based upon metrics and dependent upon continued employment at the time of payout)401k with company match (Full-time Employees)Medical Benefits – 90% covered for full-time employees and 70% for dependentsVision & Dental benefits – 100% covered for full-time employeesPaid training and sick timeFree Tea per shiftIn This Full-time Assistant Store Manager Role, You WillSupport the management of a fantastic team: ensure the team is able to deliver high-quality and excellent customer serviceEnsure the team is able to deliver consistent product qualityMake sure all store level operation tools are used and followed to operational standardsSupport the training and management of all new store employeesCoach and correct Shift Leads & Baristas by conducting On-Job-Training (OJT)Aid and execute the store schedule as neededAssign team members to specific shifts and delegate dutiesSupervise and ensure upselling/suggestive selling is practiced at all times and ensure each order is served to standardHandle customer feedback properly and coach team members on creating solutions and remediesResponsible for store cash handling matters based on rules and regulations set forth by companyMonitor Stores Sales PerformanceSupport the creation and management of sales performance goalsAssist in marketing & promotional activities to attract top talentInventory ManagementForecast inventory usage and deliverySupport store manager in ordering and receiving inventoryThe Ideal Candidate Will Have The FollowingBe a passionate tea lover!1+ year of supervision or management experience in a food & beverage retail environmentPrevious Barista experience: 2+ years (preferred)Food Safety Certification (Company can assist)Excellent communications and leadership skillsFun personality that can add to the CHAGEE cultureBe a fast learner and enjoy working in a fast-paced environmentAbility to work a flexible schedule with retail hours, including day, evening, weekends, and/or holidaysAbility to travel to other store locations or training facilities within a 30 mile radius as neededWork well as part of a team with strong work ethicBe willing to learn other responsibilities and ad-hoc assignmentsBe available to participate in company's training when necessaryAbility to read and interpret instructional documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedural manualsEssential Physical RequirementsPosition requires prolonged periods of standing/walking around store or departmentMay involve reaching, crouching, kneeling and stoopingFrequent use of computers and other technology, necessary to perform job functions, including handheld equipment, cash register and ability to process register transactionsFrequently lift/move up to 25lbsShiftFull-Time – Morning/Day ShiftFull-Time – Afternoon ShiftFull-Time – Night/Evening ShiftFull-Time – WeekendsCHAGEE is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
