Job Summary The Assistant Store Manager (ASM) assists the general manager in daily operations of the store while adhering to Global Partner's policies and procedures.Responsibilities Complete required daily accounting paperwork and transmit by deadline.Supervise, develop, train, and discipline non-exempt employees.Monitor shift cash handling and inventory.Assist in investigations of shortages/overages of $100 per month or less and inventory variations of .5% of sales or less.Maintain business records, review cashier accountability sheets and other prescribed records.Perform banking, invoicing, payroll, and other administrative duties as requested.Manage cash management procedures including bank deposits and change orders.Maintain Grand Opening Ready Standards and store image standards.Maintain high levels of cleanliness and sanitation.Ensure store security and safety, complying with safety and environmental guidelines.Report any issues to proper authority.Ensure adequate gasoline levels and coordinate deliveries.Engage in company promotional initiatives.Promote a high level of guest service.Perform duties as required by company policies and procedures and any other duties assigned by the General Manager or Territory Manager.Qualifications Must be available to work flexible hours including day, night, weekends, and holidays.1-2 years of supervisory experience.Ability to work unsupervised.Ability to communicate, count, read, and write accurately.Ability to perform basic computer functions.Must have reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.Ability to work in intermittent temperatures (outside, cooler, etc.).Ability to reach, bend, twist, stoop, kneel, crouch, climb ladders/stairs, and lift up to 25 lbs during a shift.Ability to freely access all areas of the store including selling floor, stock area, and register area.Applicants must be at least 18 years old.Vocational or technical education, high school diploma or equivalent.Pay & Benefits Pay Range: $15.57 - $18.57.
