Assistant Store Manager

The Assistant Bakery Operations Manager (ABOM) is a leadership development role designed to prepare individuals for future Bakery Operations Managers.
ABOMs execute bakery operations with urgency, accuracy, and accountability, while building leadership skills for independent management.
Key responsibilities include:

• Operational execution: inventory, scheduling, staffing, quality, cleanliness, and safety standards
• Supporting ordering, inventory accuracy, and shrink control
• Talent development: recruiting, onboarding, coaching, and performance feedback
• Team accountability and fostering a growth culture
• Operational leadership: managing bakery in absence of BOM, partnering on improvements, ensuring continuity

Success is demonstrated by independent task execution, a fully staffed and high-standard bakery, strong accountability culture, and readiness for BOM advancement.
Qualifications include 1+ year leadership in high-volume environments, operational discipline, coaching ability, and excellent communication skills.
