Position SummaryThe Assistant Store Manager will supervise the Retail Associates in daily store operations. Your purpose is to provide direction where needed and be an ongoing example of superior customer service. You will be a product expert to educate, inform, and outfit the customer for any occasion. You will have a "BYLT for you" mindset and be a true ambassador of the brand.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesProvide leadership and direction to team membersManage store opening/closing procedures. Hold keys to the store and maintain a high level of responsibility for store security and standardsAssist with guiding, directing, and motivating team members. Monitor sales and motivate the team to hit forecasted goalsServe as Manager on Duty when neededAssist with the recruiting, hiring, and training of team membersHelp build a product‑knowledge driven sales culture, sharing knowledge of the industry, eco‑initiatives, and high‑quality product with the Store Team and customersUphold and enforce company policies, procedures, and corporate directivesEnsure manager directives are being properly executedCoach and train retail associates as neededComplete and delegate tasks assigned by the retail manager accurately and efficientlyCoordinate daily activities with the teamReceive shipment, process transfers, and markdowns.
