BYREDO is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support their Valley Fair Street location. Someone who is passionate about luxury retail, client engagement, and cultivating unforgettable brand experiences. In partnership with the Store Manager, you will help lead a high-performing team, drive commercial success, and foster lasting relationships with clients who connect deeply with the BYREDO universe. As a key member of the leadership team, you will champion exceptional service, coach and inspire talent, and ensure every aspect of the store reflects BYREDO's commitment to creativity, craftsmanship, and modern luxury. This role offers the opportunity to grow your leadership career while making a significant impact on both the client experience and the overall success of the business.What You'll Get to DoSupport Commercial PerformanceAchieve individual sales targets while leading selling activity on the floor and modeling the BYREDO selling ceremonyDrive team sales performance through consistent floor coaching, motivation, and accountability to both individual and collective goalsAnalyze sales results, KPIs, and client metrics to identify opportunities and develop action plans in partnership with the Store ManagerLead VIC and VIP-focused selling initiatives and localized client strategies that drive loyalty, retention, and repeat businessPartner with the Store Manager to execute brand initiatives, events, and activations that support business growth and client acquisitionMaintain a strong understanding of product knowledge, business performance, and market trends to maximize sales opportunitiesDeliver Elevated Client ExperiencesBuild and maintain strong client relationships through personalized service, thoughtful follow-up, and VIC/VIP engagementSupport the execution of the store's clienteling strategy utilizing CRM and digital clienteling tools to deepen client relationshipsCreate memorable and personalized experiences that embody the BYREDO brand and foster long-term loyaltyResolve client inquiries and escalations with professionalism, empathy, and a service-first, solutions-oriented approachAct as a brand ambassador, ensuring all interactions reflect BYREDO's values, storytelling, product expertise, and service standardsChampion a luxury service culture by consistently role modeling best-in-class client engagement behaviorsSupport & Develop the TeamTake a lead role in onboarding, training, and integrating new team members in partnership with the Store ManagerDeliver consistent coaching and feedback to Client Advisors on sales performance, service standards, product knowledge, and brand behaviorsSupport the execution of individual development plans and career growth conversations in partnership with the Store ManagerReinforce company policies, procedures, and performance expectations through direct role modeling and real-time coachingFoster a collaborative, inclusive, and high-performing team environment that encourages accountability and continuous developmentHelp identify talent opportunities and support succession planning efforts within the store teamEnsure Operational ExcellenceOwn daily store operations during supervised shifts, including inventory accuracy, stock flow, POS transactions, deliveries, and back-of-house organizationConduct compliance checks on operational procedures, including cash handling, transaction accuracy, opening and closing procedures, and end-of-day reportingEnsure the team consistently adheres to company policies and operational standards, escalating concerns and discrepancies as appropriateMaintain a store environment that consistently reflects BYREDO's visual merchandising guidelines, brand standards, and luxury presentationPrepare and submit accurate daily, weekly, and monthly operational and business performance reportsSupport inventory management processes, including cycle counts, stock replenishment, and loss prevention initiativesAssume full Store Manager responsibilities during absences, including team supervision, operational decision-making, business performance oversight, and client escalationsWe'd Love to Meet You If You Have2-3 years of experience in luxury, prestige, or premium retail, with demonstrated leadership experience or prior supervisory responsibilitiesExperience selling beauty, fragrance, skincare, and/or makeup products, ideally within a luxury retail environmentProven success driving sales performance while delivering exceptional client experiencesStrong working knowledge of retail operations, clienteling, CRM tools, retail systems, and compliance with company policies and proceduresExcellent communication, interpersonal, coaching, and organizational skillsA passion for luxury retail, client relationship building, and team developmentFlexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidaysCompensationAs required by California State's salary transparency law, effective November 2022, the expected base salary for this position ranges from $30.00- $40.00 hourly. Various factors are considered when extending offers, such as relevant skillset, training, years of experience related to the current job description, education, and our organizational structure.
