Assistant Store Manager
Description
Kenyon Noble's Belgrade location is currently hiring for an Assistant Store Manager position.
This position is a 40+ hour per week commitment that includes a full benefits package for qualifying employees with paid time off, paid holidays, health insurance, employee discounts & a 401(k) package. Applicants must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen. An Assistant Store Manager primarily focuses on customer interactions, employees, management of select departments and a focus on driving of company revenue.
Other responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Communicating with vendor or supplier reps, ordering products and inventory, pricing, merchandising and setting weekly/monthly schedules, as well as any additional tasks or duties necessary to maintain the daily function of the store.
Responsibilities
- Assist the Retail Store Manager in planning and implementing strategies to attract customers utilizing strategic purchasing and merchandising
- Coordinate daily customer service operations (staffing, flow of freight, maintenance, and purchasing)
- Track the progress of weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual objectives
- Monitor and maintain store inventory
- Evaluate employee performance and identify hiring and training needs
- Supervise and motivate staff
- Coach and support new and existing Sales Associates and Department Heads
- Monitor retail operating costs, budgets, and resources
- Communicate with customers and evaluate their needs
- Analyze consumer behavior and adjust product positioning
- Handle and resolve complaints from customers
- Research new products and use information to update the store's merchandise
- Conduct regular audits to ensure the store and departments function properly
- Make sure all employees adhere to company's policies and guidelines
- Act as our store's representative and set an example for staff

- Previous experience in sales, customer service, management or related fields

Salary/ wages range from $65K - $85K, DOE
