Help set statewide standards, support traffic engineering professionals, and drive innovation in traffic signal technology as Minnesotas next Assistant State Signal and Lighting Engineer!

Responsibilities include:

• Review and coordinate statewide policies, procedures, and standards for signal design and operation
• Support Metro District and Greater Minnesota districts on signal operations and signal shared services
• Represent interests of non-Metro districts in signal design and operation decisions
• Provide technical support for training programs
• Manage the evaluation of new products and methods for traffic electrical designs and operation
• Act as technical liaison for miscellaneous research and implementation projects
• Provide engineering assistance to MnDOT's Connected and Automated Vehicle Program
