We are actively seeking an Assistant Sheet Metal Superintendent who is ready to grow into a larger field leadership role while supporting daily project execution across commercial and industrial HVAC jobsites. This is an excellent opportunity for experienced sheet metal professionals who understand fabrication and installation and are ready to expand their impact through coordination, project oversight, and team leadership development.
In this role, you will work closely with the Sheet Metal Superintendent and project management team to support field crew coordination, manpower planning, quality control, scheduling, and project organization. Responsibilities include helping ensure installations meet plans, specifications, and SMACNA standards; conducting site walks; monitoring safety and progress; coordinating with the fabrication shop; verifying layouts and material lists; tracking materials and tools; and maintaining communication between fabrication, field teams, and project managers. You will also support apprentice and technician development while building your own leadership capabilities for future advancement.

What We're Looking For
We are seeking an organized, dependable sheet metal professional with strong technical knowledge, leadership potential, and the desire to grow into larger field management responsibilities. Ideal candidates are proactive, detail-oriented, and committed to safety, quality, and continuous development.
• 3+ years of commercial or industrial sheet metal fabrication and/or installation experience
• Strong understanding of ductwork systems and installation practices
• Familiarity with SMACNA standards
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and mechanical drawings
• Experience supporting layouts, materials, and field coordination
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Proactive problem-solving ability
• Leadership mindset with desire for long-term advancement
• Strong work ethic and professionalism
