The Quick Lane Assistant Service Advisor supports the center of communication for service/repair activities and is the liaison between customers and the technicians in a fast-paced environment.
Serving as the primary point-of-contact for quick maintenance services and repair matters, the Assistant Service Advisor will:
- Greet customers
- Input their personal and vehicle data into the system
- Set appointments
- Bill jobs
- Prepare estimates for the Advisors
The ideal candidate has:
- A high school diploma or GED
- Some post-secondary automotive training or experience
- At least one year of customer service experience
- An unrestricted drivers license and a clean driving record
- A good technical and customer service performance record
Candidates must be able to work productively in a fast-paced team environment and must have:
- A positive attitude
- A professional appearance
- Great communication skills
- The ability to deliver world class customer service
Spanish speaking is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Greets all customers in a warm, sincere, and helpful manner
- Schedules service for customers either in person or on the phone to ensure a prompt and accurate diagnosis of any problems
- Enters customer and vehicle data into computer
- Prepares estimates for Service Advisors
- Ensures that the required documentation is complete and is in compliance with regulations and standards
- Complies with and enforces all safety policies and procedures
- Attends all staff meetings, trainings, and educational classes as required
- Helps educate/train new staff members
- Performs other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- One year of automotive customer service experience
- Basic understanding of automotive knowledge
- Neat, clean, and professional appearance
- Highly professional and dependable
- Excellent communication, customer service, and problem solving skills, including the ability to maintain composure under stress
- Unrestricted drivers license and clean driving record
- Able to drive both automatic and standard-transmission vehicles
- Good computer and internet skills
