The Quick Lane Assistant Service Advisor supports the center of communication for service/repair activities and is the liaison between customers and the technicians in a fast-paced environment.

Serving as the primary point-of-contact for quick maintenance services and repair matters, the Assistant Service Advisor will:

  • Greet customers
  • Input their personal and vehicle data into the system
  • Set appointments
  • Bill jobs
  • Prepare estimates for the Advisors

The ideal candidate has:

  • A high school diploma or GED
  • Some post-secondary automotive training or experience
  • At least one year of customer service experience
  • An unrestricted drivers license and a clean driving record
  • A good technical and customer service performance record

Candidates must be able to work productively in a fast-paced team environment and must have:

  • A positive attitude
  • A professional appearance
  • Great communication skills
  • The ability to deliver world class customer service

Spanish speaking is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Greets all customers in a warm, sincere, and helpful manner
  • Schedules service for customers either in person or on the phone to ensure a prompt and accurate diagnosis of any problems
  • Enters customer and vehicle data into computer
  • Prepares estimates for Service Advisors
  • Ensures that the required documentation is complete and is in compliance with regulations and standards
  • Complies with and enforces all safety policies and procedures
  • Attends all staff meetings, trainings, and educational classes as required
  • Helps educate/train new staff members
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • One year of automotive customer service experience
  • Basic understanding of automotive knowledge
  • Neat, clean, and professional appearance
  • Highly professional and dependable
  • Excellent communication, customer service, and problem solving skills, including the ability to maintain composure under stress
  • Unrestricted drivers license and clean driving record
  • Able to drive both automatic and standard-transmission vehicles
  • Good computer and internet skills
