Responsibilities:
Operational:
- Serve as department head for the Rides, Grounds and Dispatch departments
- Provide Guests with a safe, fun experience
- Hire, train, schedule, and audit hourly and full-time amusements staff
- Meet all quality goals for the rides and grounds departments in the areas of safety, guest service, efficiency, and appearance
- Ensure that all safety protocols are followed at all times
Administrative:
- Financial management including budget tracking, cost control, labor forecasting, and payroll
- Complete Supervisor and Hourly schedules weekly
- Update inspection checklists and other critical documents as needed
- Organize and retain required documentation including ride inspections, throughputs, incidents, and training
- Conducting training and seminars related to safety and guest service
Qualifications:
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years experience managing a rides department in a full-time capacity
- Understanding of ASTM F770
- Able to work under pressure and make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment
- Work outdoors in varying weather conditions including extreme heat
- Ability to work nights, weekends and holiday periods to meet business needs
