PRIMARY FUNCTION:
The Assistant Restorative Practices Facilitator is responsible for supporting the establishment of a safe and stable school climate and culture by collaborating with the Restorative Practices Facilitator, administrators, and school teams, to ensure that all students are successful in the educational setting. The Assistant Restorative Practices Facilitator supports the improvement of social-emotional learning to ensure students receive needed support to achieve and maintain a sense of belonging and high levels of performance. The Assistant Restorative Practices Facilitator assists in monitoring the students throughout the educational environment to help maintain a positive school culture as assigned by the Administration and/or the Restorative Practices Facilitator.
QUALIFICATIONS:

A. Required High School diploma or equivalent
B. Preferred Two (2) years of college credit in an educational or clinical field
A. Required Minimum of one (1) year of experience working with children
B. Preferred Minimum of one (1) year of experience working with students in a school setting
ESSENTIAL PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:

Technical: Must be able to use the district email system, Google platforms, Microsoft Office, and other related technology.
Interpersonal: Must be able to work collaboratively within a team. Possesses the ability to develop and maintain positive relationships with staff, parents, and students. Must have strong organization, communication, and interpersonal skills, and a strong sense of teamwork. Must be able to cope with deadline pressures; make difficult decisions that impact learning; and work harmoniously with the community, students, parents, staff, and administration. Exhibit sound judgment. Follow directives given by the Administration. Must also be a creative problem solver who is empathetic, humanistic, and open-minded.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Manual Dexterity: Work requires definite skilled and accurate physical operations requiring some closely coordinated performance.
Physical Effort: Work requires handling average weight materials or equipment, but not for sustained periods.
Working Conditions: Some exposure to definitely disagreeable elements may exist, i.e., temperature changes, use of steps/stairs, walking long distances throughout the building. Must be available for evenings and weekends if needed. Must also be able to attend events outside of the District as needed. Must be able to travel to schools, meetings, and conferences as needed.
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: Full-time, 180 day school year, non-exempt union position.
SALARY RANGE:As defined by the Collective Bargaining Agreement, the hourly rate is $16.59/hour, with the ability to earn up to an additional $2.10/hour, based on the candidate's applicable Knowledge, Skills and Abilities.
