Assistant Restaurant Manager

About the Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced and hands-on Restaurant Manager to help lead daily operations in a high-volume, guest-focused environment. This role partners closely with the General Manager to ensure operational excellence, exceptional food quality, outstanding guest experiences, and strong financial performance.


The ideal candidate is an energetic leader who thrives in a fast-paced setting, develops strong teams, and is passionate about hospitality. Experience with catering and to-go operations is highly valued and will be a key driver of success in this role.


Key Responsibilities

  • Support all aspects of restaurant and kitchen operations to ensure exceptional guest experiences and food quality.
  • Drive sales, profitability, labor management, and adherence to operational budgets.
  • Lead, coach, and develop team members while maintaining a culture of accountability and service excellence.
  • Ensure compliance with company standards, food safety regulations, labor laws, and health codes.
  • Maintain restaurant cleanliness, safety, and brand standards.
  • Serve as a visible leader and role model for the team.
  • Assist with day-to-day operations as needed, including guest interaction, expediting, running food, line support, and other operational duties.
  • Support and grow catering and off-premise business opportunities.
  • Participate in meetings, training, and occasional catering deliveries.


Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Five or more years of restaurant management experience preferred.
  • Strong experience with catering and to-go operations is essential.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish skills are a significant advantage.
  • Valid driver’s license required.
  • ServSafe Manager Certification required.
