Position Title: Assistant Restaurant Leader
Franchise Organization: Lima Murray Management
Pay Range: $19.25-$21.50 per hour + tips
Overview:
An Assistant Restaurant Leader is generally responsible for supporting the Restaurant Manager, Shift leaders and Team. They assist in managerial duties in the absence of the Restaurant Manager. Primary duties generally include floor operations and guest service. Generally responsible for providing strong, positive leadership to his/ her team to deliver great friendly guest experiences, operational excellence and for helping to build a positive guest focused environment. They support the Restaurant Manager in the overall operation of the restaurant according to Dunkin' standards, franchisee policies and procedures and in compliance with all applicable laws.
Responsibilities Include:
- Perform all responsibilities of restaurant team members as their primary duty
- Deliver training to restaurant team members
- Ensure Brand standards, recipes and systems are executed
- Create and maintain a guest focused culture in the restaurant
- Assist manager in reviewing guest feedback results and implement action plans to drive improvement
- Communicates restaurant priorities, goals and results to restaurant team members
- Assist manager in executing new product roll-outs including training, marketing and sampling
- Maintain a safe, secure, and healthy environment by following and enforcing safety, food safety, and sanitation requirements and complying with all applicable laws
- Assist manager to control costs and help maximize profitability
- Assist manager to complete weekly labor schedules ensuring all shifts are staffed to meet guest demand and service standards
- Assist manager in the completion of DCP and other vendor orders
- Conduct self-assessments in red book and complete the corresponding action plans
- Assist manager to ensure restaurant budget is met as determined by Franchisee
- Assists with cash over/short in restaurant and ensures team members are following franchisee's cash management policies
- In the absence of the restaurant manager travel to and from the Bank with cash deposits one time per day as noted on the driving route with no deviations.
- Travel to and from Corporate Office, trainings, and other stores as required by the General Manager
- Reports losses, employee behavior issues, accident/incident reports, serious customer complaints, and other significant issues to management
- Coach restaurant team members to drive sales, improve profitability and guest satisfaction
Required Education, Experience & Licensure
- Must possess a valid State of Maine Driver's License
- Must have reliable transportation
- Basic computer skills
- Fluent in spoken and written English
- Basic math and financial management
- Previous leadership experience in retail, restaurant or hospitality
- College Degree preferred

Principal Responsibilities for Travel
Understanding a personal vehicle is required to accomplish daily tasks:
- Travel to and from the Bank one time per day as noted on the driving route with no deviations from route
- Travel to and from corporate office when requested and approved by General Manger
- Travel to all required trainings approved by the General Manager
- Travel to other stores in the network if requested by the General Manager
