**Position:** Assistant Property Manager
**Location:** North Port, Florida
**Pay Rate:** $22.00/hour plus commissions and quarterly bonus potential!**Compensation:** Competitive pay, with weekly payments and a generous amount of paid time off provided!
**Rent Discount:** 20%
**Must be able to work weekends
**About the Role:**
As the Assistant Property Manager, you'll be responsible and accountable for assisting in on-site operations at the community and driving maximum occupancy to ensure resident retention through exceptional customer service. You'll play a key role in enforcing leasing best practices, supporting the Sr. Property Manager, and contributing to a positive community experience.
**Key Responsibilities:**
-Process new applications.
- Show apartments to prospective residents.
- Assist Sr. Property Manager in overseeing Leasing and Maintenance staff.
- Lease apartments through multiple channels and provide excellent customer service.
- Coordinate move-ins and move-outs for a seamless resident experience.
- Manage lease negotiations, renewals, and assist with resident retention strategies.
- Assist with rent collection, evictions and office organization.
**Qualifications:**
- High school diploma or GED required; college degree preferred.
- 1-2 years Assistant Property Manager experience required.
- Proficiency in MS Office and Excel; experience with Yardi is a plus.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to speak a second language being desirable.
- Ability to solve problems and follow detailed instructions effectively.
