Assistant Property Manager

Eads Square Apartments is part of Volunteers of America National Services, which serves as the Housing and Healthcare affiliate of the Volunteers of America parent organization.

You'll play a key role in supporting housing stability, enhancing resident experience, and ensuring the property runs efficiently and effectively. Job Highlights:

  • Job Type: Full-time
  • Schedule: Monday- Friday, 8:00 am-4:30 pm. Occasional Weekends.
  • Pay: $22-$24p/h based on experience

What You Bring (Requirements)

  • High School Diploma
  • minimum of two (2) years of related experience in property

management.

  • Must have Certified Occupancy Specialist (COS) and Low Income Housing Tax Credit(LIHTC) certification
  • Skilled in time management and the ability to prioritize tasks to meet all assigned deadlines

What You'll Be Responsible For

  • Assist in managing all aspects of building's occupancy and maintenance
  • Responsible for processing background checks, rental applications,

certifications, rent calculations and prepare leasing documents in accordance

with the regulatory agency's specification and Fair Housing Law

  • Coordinate with tenants, maintenance team and third party vendors to address

maintenance issues. Includes producing work orders and entering the

completion of work orders.

  • Rent collection and posting. Record all rents, assist with payables.
  • Assist with quarterly unit inspections and assign needed repairs
