The Assistant Property Manager supports the leasing and property management team by managing leasing operations, coordinating tenant communications, and ensuring smooth lease processes. This role plays a vital part in maintaining high occupancy levels and providing excellent customer service to prospective and current residents.
SUMMARY OF FUNCTIONS:
- Coordinate the leasing process from initial inquiry through move-in.
- Respond to leasing inquiries via phone, email, and in-person tours.
- Assist with preparing and managing lease agreements, renewals, and addendums.
- Maintain accurate records of prospective and current tenants using property management software.
- Ensure all application documents are completed, verified, and submitted in a timely manner.
- Assist with tracking lease expirations and follow up on renewals with tenants.
- Maintain marketing materials and listings on property rental websites.
- Assist with rent collection and follow up on delinquencies when necessary.
- Provide administrative support to the office, leasing and property management team.
- Help to prepare legal action for evictions, as necessary.
- All other duties as assigned.
