Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated Assistant Project Manager to support the development and construction teams in Indianapolis. In this role, you'll assist in overseeing real estate projects from inception to completion, contributing to a portfolio of Class-A developments, including apartments, mixed-use properties, and commercial spaces. Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in project planning, scheduling, and coordination, ensuring timelines and milestones are met.
  • Support budgeting, cost tracking, and financial reporting for development and construction initiatives.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including developers, contractors, architects, and engineers, to facilitate smooth project execution.
  • Conduct site visits, monitor progress, and help resolve on-site issues to maintain quality and safety standards.
  • Prepare and review project documentation, such as contracts, permits, and progress reports.
  • Aid in entitlement processes, including zoning, rezoning, and regulatory compliance for new developments.
  • Contribute to risk assessment, vendor management, and procurement of materials and services.
  • Participate in stakeholder communications, fostering positive relationships with investors, communities, and partners.
  • Utilize data-driven tools to analyze market trends and support opportunity identification.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Real Estate, Civil Engineering, Business, or a related field.
  • 1-3 years of experience in project management, preferably in real estate development, construction, or a similar industry.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Procore, Microsoft Project) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Knowledge of construction processes, budgeting, and regulatory requirements in Indiana is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for team collaboration and stakeholder engagement.
  • A proactive, problem-solving mindset aligned with stakeholder-first values.
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to project sites as needed.
