Description

We are partnering with a well-established and rapidly growing construction management firm to identify a Residential Assistant Project Manager. This individual will support Project Managers and Senior Project Managers in the successful execution of high-end residential renovation and custom home projects throughout the Greater Boston area.

Known for exceptional craftsmanship, client service, and long-standing relationships, they continue to expand due to a robust project pipeline and strong market demand.Current work includes luxury brownstone renovations, custom homes, multifamily developments, and institutional projects throughout Boston and surrounding communities. Residential projects typically range from $1M to $30M+.

Description

  • Support Project Managers throughout all phases of construction projects
  • Manage project documentation including drawings, RFIs, submittals, and revisions
  • Attend project meetings and maintain accurate meeting minutes and action items
  • Coordinate with field teams, subcontractors, vendors, and design professionals to maintain project schedules
  • Ensure subcontractor contracts, insurance documentation, and compliance requirements are current before work begins
  • Track outstanding project documentation and escalate issues as needed
  • Assist with procurement and project administration activities
  • Support project closeout efforts, including punch list coordination and collection of closeout documents

Profile

A successful Residential Assistant Project Manager should have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field preferred
  • 1-4+ years of construction experience in an Assistant Project Manager, Project Engineer, or similar role
  • Experience supporting residential construction projects strongly preferred
  • Candidates with strong commercial construction experience will also be considered
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Experience with Procore and/or Bluebeam is a plus but not required
  • Must be able to commute to project sites and the Greater Boston office
