Assistant Project Manager - High End Residential

We are partnering with a well-established and rapidly growing construction management firm to identify a Residential Assistant Project Manager. This individual will support Project Managers and Senior Project Managers in the successful execution of high-end residential renovation and custom home projects throughout the Greater Boston area.

The company has experienced significant growth over the past decade and now operates multiple offices throughout the Northeast. Known for exceptional craftsmanship, client service, and long-standing relationships, they continue to expand due to a robust project pipeline and strong market demand.Current work includes luxury brownstone renovations, custom homes, multifamily developments, and institutional projects throughout Boston and surrounding communities. Residential projects typically range from $1M to $30M+.

Description

• Support Project Managers throughout all phases of construction projects
• Manage project documentation including drawings, RFIs, submittals, and revisions
• Attend project meetings and maintain accurate meeting minutes and action items
• Coordinate with field teams, subcontractors, vendors, and design professionals to maintain project schedules
• Ensure subcontractor contracts, insurance documentation, and compliance requirements are current before work begins
• Track outstanding project documentation and escalate issues as needed
• Assist with procurement and project administration activities
• Support project closeout efforts, including punch list coordination and collection of closeout documents

Profile

A successful Residential Assistant Project Manager should have:

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field preferred
• 1-4+ years of construction experience in an Assistant Project Manager, Project Engineer, or similar role
• Experience supporting residential construction projects strongly preferred
• Candidates with strong commercial construction experience will also be considered
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
• Experience with Procore and/or Bluebeam is a plus but not required
• Must be able to commute to project sites and the Greater Boston office
