Minimum Qualifications

Bachelors degree required degree concentration in construction preferred. 5 to 7 years experience in healthcare environment construction and/or Facilities operations required. Candidates are required to communicate with all levels of staff within the facility along with a proven ability to work with professionals, regulatory officials, and contractors as needed to complete the project. Architectural drafting experience and ability to work with AutoCAD required.

POSITION SUMMARY

The Assistant Project Manager will be responsible for all aspects of construction management from conception to occupancy. This includes ability to interface and communicate with all levels of staff within the organization, project professionals, and regulatory agencies on a regular basis.

The Assistant Project Manager also demonstrates the ability to offer input on means to improve processes and control variables within the project scope. This position supports organizational goals by providing quality customer service, participating in performance improvement efforts, and demonstrating a commitment to teamwork and cooperation.

LICENSECERTIFICATION

EXPERIENCE

5 to 7 years experience in healthcare environment construction and/or Facilities operations required. Candidates are required to communicate with all levels of staff within the facility along with a proven ability to work with professionals, regulatory officials, and contractors as needed to complete the project. Architectural drafting experience and ability to work with AutoCAD required.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

This position requires sitting, standing, walking, stooping, and crouching a majority of the workday. Works with such equipment as computer terminal, fax machine, printer, and copier.

This position reports to Department Leadership and may supervise incumbents as assigned.
