Assistant Project Manager

We are seeking a driven and detail-oriented Assistant Project Manager to play a key role in delivering high-quality construction projects from start to finish. This position serves as a critical link between the office and field teams, ensuring seamless coordination, clear communication, and successful project execution.

In this role, you will take ownership of essential project documentation including submittals, RFIs, change orders, and detailed project logs. You will support project leadership by analyzing costs, tracking budgets, and assisting with financial forecasting to keep projects on time and on target.

You will work closely with on-site Superintendents to ensure strong alignment between field operations and office objectives, helping to drive efficiency and consistency across all phases of construction. You will also participate in project meetings with clients, architects, and internal stakeholders, contributing to clear communication and proactive problem-solving.

A key part of your role will be supporting jobsite quality and safety by monitoring compliance with project specifications, standards, and regulatory requirements. Your attention to detail and ability to coordinate across teams will directly contribute to successful project delivery and client satisfaction.


Qualifications & Requirements

  • Experience in construction, engineering, or project coordination preferred
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to read and manage construction documentation (RFIs, submittals, change orders)
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Bilingual (English and Spanish required)
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, field-to-office environment
  • Proficiency with construction management software (e.g., Procore, Bluebeam) a plus
