Description
As the Assistant Project Manager, you will support the Project Manager in delivering construction projects on time and within budget while maintaining high quality and safety standards. You will play a key role in project coordination and execution.
- Assist in managing project schedules, budgets, and documentation
- Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams
- Support procurement processes, including bid packages and buyouts
- Track project costs, change orders, and progress reporting
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and company procedures
- Attend project meetings and maintain clear communication across stakeholders
- Assist in resolving project issues to keep work progressing efficiently
Profile
For the Assistant Project Manager, we are seeking:
- 2+ years of experience in commercial construction (internships considered)
- Exposure to ground-up or renovation projects preferred
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency with construction management software (e.g., Procore, Bluebeam, MS Project)
- Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred
- A proactive attitude and desire to grow into a Project Manager role
