We are seeking an enthusiastic Assistant Project Manager to join our thriving Commercial Construction team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, challenging environment and has a passion for construction. The successful candidate will assist in the planning, management, and execution of commercial construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This is a full-time, permanent position with opportunities for professional growth and advancement.

Responsibilities:
As an Assistant Project Manager, your key responsibilities will include:
1. Assisting the Project Manager in the planning, coordination, and execution of commercial construction projects.
2. Monitoring project progress, ensuring that work is on schedule and within budget.
3. Liaising with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure all parties are informed of project progress and any issues that arise.
4. Reviewing and interpreting project plans and specifications to ensure project requirements are met.
5. Assisting in the preparation of project reports and documentation.
6. Managing project risks and issues, and implementing mitigation strategies as necessary.
7. Assisting in the procurement of materials and equipment, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget.
8. Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations and quality standards.
9. Contributing to the continuous improvement of project management processes and practices.

Qualifications:
To be considered for the Assistant Project Manager role, you must have:
1. A minimum of 2 years of experience in the construction industry
2. A bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field.
3. Excellent knowledge of construction processes, materials, and regulations.
4. Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients, contractors, and team members.
6. Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve project issues effectively and efficiently.
7. Proficiency in project management software and other relevant computer applications.
8. A commitment to health and safety, and a willingness to adhere to all safety regulations and procedures.
9. A valid driver's license and the ability to travel to various project sites as required.
