    Summary: The Assistant Project Engineer will provide administrative and organizational support to the Project Management team, helping coordinate documentation, schedules, and communication across project teams. This is an excellent entry-level opportunity for a highly organized, detail-oriented individual with strong people skills who is eager to build a career in the construction industry, with a foundation in engineering.

    Duties/Responsibilities Assist project engineers and project managers with day-to-day project coordination and administrative tasks. Gather, organize, and maintain project files, including drawings, compliance documentation, and schedules. Assist in preparing reports, meeting minutes, and other project documentation. Communicate and coordinate with field teams, contractors, and vendors to support project progress. Help track project schedules, RFIs, submittals, and change orders. Provide professional communication support between internal teams and external partners. Learn and adhere to company safety policies and construction best practices. Perform other related duties as assigned to support project success.

    Required Skills/Abilities Bachelors degree required; degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field. Ability to assess and prioritize multiple tasks, projects, and deadlines. Strong verbal and written communication skills; bilingual candidates welcome. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word and Excel). Strong organizational and interpersonal skills, with a demonstrated ability to work well with teams and the public. Self-motivated with a commitment to producing high-quality, detail-oriented work. Prior experience in a role requiring coordination, multitasking, and customer or client interaction (e.g., healthcare, hospitality, childcare, or customer service) is valued.Note: This is an on-site position and requires the ability to work in the office during standard business hours.

    Working Conditions: Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Finger dexterity for extensive amounts of typing. Must be able to lift up to 20 pounds at a time. This job requires the ability to see, whether naturally or with vision correction tools (glasses, contacts).
