Job Summary

Major Duties & Responsibilities: Provide ongoing coaching and professional development to teachers and support staff to enhance teaching quality, improve student outcomes, and promote reflection and professional growth. Facilitate workshops and job-embedded training focused on best practices in special education and continuous improvement. Deliver in-classroom coaching to support implementation of evidence-based instructional strategies, interventions, and positive behavioral supports. Lead and facilitate change management efforts by supporting staff through implementation of new practices, program structures, and expectations. Implement and support changes to program structures and service delivery models to strengthen instructional consistency and effectiveness. Collaborate with educators, families, and community partners to ensure coordinated, comprehensive support for students. Use data to regularly evaluate instructional practices, interventions, and program effectiveness, and make data-informed adjustments. Partner with multidisciplinary teams to problem-solve and promote inclusive, supportive learning environments that foster a sense of belonging for all students.

Requirements / Qualifications

Certification & Qualification Requirements: • Special Education Credential or Pupil Personnel Services • Master's Degree preferred • Five years of successful teaching experience as a Special Education Teacher, including at least two years as a special education coach or mentor. • Board Certified Behavioral Analyst preferred. Solid understanding of Evidence-Based Practices in Special Education.
