Tulane University School of Medicine Department of Surgery is currently seeking a highly qualified Board Certified/Board Eligible Vascular Surgeon to join the faculty in the Department of Surgery. The successful candidate should be a junior to mid-career level surgeon and would meet the requirements for appointment as an Assistant or Associate Professor at the medical school.

She must have formal training and will be responsible for providing comprehensive state-of-the-art open and endovascular care, including treating peripheral artery disease, aneurysms, and venous disease. This position will include clinical care via face-to-face and virtual modalities, supervising surgical residents, and participation in the procedural components of the section and the professional evaluation and quality improvement programs.

Desired Skills: • Clinical expertise in both traditional open and endovascular techniques. • Strong commitment to mentoring trainees and fostering a collaborative team-based care model. • Strong communication and leadership abilities. • MD, DO, or equivalent medical degree from an accredited institution. • Successful completion of an accredited fellowship or integrated residency in vascular surgery. • Board certified or eligible in vascular surgery. • Demonstrated experience in teaching and academic clinical or basic science research. • Eligible for state medical licensure.
