- Provides inpatient and outpatient adult neurology clinical services, including serving as a stroke consultant in assigned neurology outpatient clinic and providing consultation services at affiliated hospitals.
- Conducts neuro-interventional procedures and provides neuro-critical care and stroke services.
- Supervises resident clinics and participates in the overall teaching program for teaching and training of residents and medical students, to include the presentation of lectures.
- Engages in advancement of scientific knowledge through research and/or scholarship.
- Serves the academic community through participation in institutional governance such as committee work, neurology professional organizations, and other administrative duties.
- Contributes to the community through academically related public service complementary to the institutional mission.
- Participates in chart audits and other clinical performance improvement efforts.
- Ensures compliance with HIPAA and billing regulations.

- Successful completion of an ACGME-accredited Neurology Residency Program
- Successful completion of an ACGME-accredited fellowship program in Vascular Neurology or Neurocritical Care
- Successful completion of ACGME- or Committee on Advanced Subspecialty Training (CAST)-accredited fellowship program in Endovascular Surgical Neuroradiology, Neuroendovascular Intervention, or Interventional Neuroradiology
- Texas Medical License, or eligible for medical licensure in Texas
