The position is for a full-time, contract renewable Assistant Professor of Opera Theatre within the School of Music.
Candidates will direct two operas annually, teach, recruit diverse students, and collaborate on program initiatives. Preferred candidates have professional directing experience, a terminal degree or ABD in Opera or Stage Directing, and college-level teaching expertise.
Minimum qualifications include an MM in Opera Directing or related, 3 years of directing experience, and a record of professional work.
