Missouri Western State University's College of Science and Health and School of Nursing invites applications for tenure-track Assistant Professor in Nursing position beginning January 2026. Successful candidates for this Assistant Professor position should be able to contribute to this growing Nursing program through undergraduate and graduate teaching, research, and service. Candidates are required to hold a Master of Science in Nursing, Licensure as a registered professional nurse in the State of Missouri or able to obtain this license.
Essential Job Duties
Missouri Western currently offers a Bachelors of Science in Nursing (BSN) and Masters of Science in Nursing (MSN). We seek student-centered colleagues committed to the field, and who value quality, clinical expertise, partnerships and service to the region and community.
Duties for candidates for tenure-track positions include performance of activities corresponding with the teaching, scholarship, and service expectations for the department and college. We seek colleagues with disciplinary expertise and professional experience, evidence of exceptional teaching, and the potential for scholarly productivity and collaboration with the region and community.
